To promote the release of the iD4, Volkswagen's new, all-electric SUV, VW leveraged AR in two, web-based experiences to introduce the vehicle and engage their target audience.
The virtual showroom allowed shoppers to customize their own colors and features and virtually step inside the vehicle for a closer look. An inventive and fun racing game let players drop a virtual track in any environment and included a shared leaderboard and opportunities to encourage social engagement.
